Interpolation Filter
Selection of Interpolation Filter
Bilinear Filter
Produces good results for image reduction and enlargement, but displays sharp transition lines. Very fast calculations.
This filter is used for the rendering of the preview.

Lanczos filter
Produces the sharpest images, but may also introduce some ringing artifacts.

Bicubic filter
Produces good results with photo-realistic images and with images that are irregular or complex.

Gaussian filter
Produces smooth transitions, but may cause excessive blurring.

Hermite filter
Produces sharp images. Very fast calculations.
